I’ve had no choice but to embrace growth, evolution and change as they are the only constants in my life. I’m currently visiting Chiang Mai. It’s quite the contrast from the homogenous scene that I’ve been living in for nearly two years on a tiny island in the south. I had a thought today:
You know how a beach changes subtly and sometimes drastically depending on the time of year, the weather and the tide?
Well I’m like that.
Throughout my life I’ve always been and will continue to be amorphous. Changing my inner and outer world, letting go of identities, shifting and shaping as I experience diversity and contrast around the world.
A Soul Called to Adventure
I’ve always had a hunger for the unknown, an insatiable curiosity to explore life’s depths. Whether delving into my inner world through psychedelics or traveling the globe to discover new landscapes, my spirit has always been untamable. Being in the city again has reignited this adventurous energy. It’s not that I can’t settle down—it’s that I don’t want to. And thankfully, I’ve created a life where I never have to.
The Search for Home
At 17, I left my family, not to escape, but to find home, family, and ultimately myself. Along the way, I realized that searching outside myself only led to longing and lack. It was only when I let go of the search that I found what I had been seeking all along: wholeness within.
A Life of Boundaries and Freedom
For years, I worried that my constant evolution meant I had commitment issues. But now I see it differently. I don’t hold on to people, places, or things beyond the lessons they teach me. After seven years in a toxic relationship, I made a vow to honor what nourishes my growth and to never compromise my well-being.
This clarity has been life-changing. I’ve cultivated strong boundaries that allow me to move freely, attracting people, places, and experiences that align with my evolution. It’s incredibly liberating to know when to leave and to create space for what truly inspires and fulfills me.
Visiting Chiang Mai has reminded me of the beauty of change and the importance of embracing growth. Life, like the sand on a beach, is always in motion. By honoring my boundaries and staying true to my untamable spirit, I’ve embraced growth and evolution to create a life of limitless possibilities. Here’s to continuing the journey of evolution and adventure.
